Meet the Staff
Joel Marcovitch, Director

Joel was born and raised in London, England. He has been in the US working for Hillel for the past 7 years, 3 spent as the Program Director at the Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach in Boca Raton FL and 3 years as the Assistant Director at the University of Michigan Hillel, Joel was appointed the Director of the Hillel at UGA in September. Joel is a veteran Birthright Israel informal educator having been a part of 15 trips and lucky enough to have been to Israel over 40 times, Joel lectures around the world talking about Jewish community, identity and where the future of both Hillel and the next generation of young Jews are heading. The new attitude at the Hillel at UGA is making Jewish Life relevant to many Jewish students that attend UGA.

Bradley Erbesfield, Program Director

Bradley graduated with a major in Child & Family Development from The University of Georgia with a certificate in Leadership from the ILA Program in December 2007. In addition to working for Hillel, he enjoys working with kids and teens. He has been involved with UGA Hillel for a long time, and enjoys working in Athens, GA! He is the previous UGA Idol coordinator from 2006 - 2008, and it is still one of his favorite Hillel events! Brad is one of the biggest DAWG fans you will find around town, and loves sports! He will be working on several projects for Hillel; everything from keeping up our building to working with students! In addition, Brad is currently working on his masters at UGA! He is always willing to lend a helping hand!

Chloe Ramsey, Engagement Associate

Chloe is from London England and moved to South Florida almost 5 years ago. She attended Florida Atlantic University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science specializing in European and Latin American Politics and was also an active sister of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. Chloe loves to travel and explore new cultures and anything that involves being outdoors. Chloe was fortunate enough to go on Birthright through Hillel and had a truely life changing experience. Chloe hopes to reach out to as many Hillel students as possible and make them feel at home and always welcome.

Keri-Anne Obasare, Hillel at UGA Fellow

Keri-Anne Obasare is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia where she majored in Philosophy. After completing a gap year, she hopes to attend graduate school for Journalism. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, she loves to travel and explore the food, music and philosophy that different cultures have to offer. In her spare time she also enjoys reading, cooking and listening to 80's music. As a new member of the Hilel team, Keri-Anne is excited to learn more about Judaism and use this knowledge to enrich the UGA and Athens communities.
