President - Mara Price
Mara is a 4th year Child and Family Development major from Martinez, GA. Her other campus activities involvement include Sigma Delta Tau, the UGA African American Choral Ensemble, and belly dancing at Ramsey. In 2009, she was an Orientation Leader for the university, an experience that she holds very dear. She works as a tutor/mentor for the Upward Bound program which helps low income high school students get into college. She has enjoyed being involved in Jewish Life at UGA for the past few years! If you ever need to know anything about Jewish life or life on campus in general, please let her know!
Vice President - Amanda Bradino
Amanda Brandino is a 3rd year student from Alpharetta, Georiga. She is majoring in Communication Science and Disorders and aspires to become and Audiologist. Last winter she traveled to Israel and fell in love with the country. Amanda's claim to fame is high-fiving Tony Hawk and her ability to solve the rubix cube.
Director of Tzedek (Social Justice and Awareness) - Marni Bronstein
Marni Bronstein is a 3rd year Child and Family Development Major and Director of Tzedek (Social Justice and Awareness) at Hillel at UGA. She works at Congregation Children of Israel teaching Judaic Studies and Hebrew to 7th and 8th graders. She enjoys making the world a better place through community service and social action. When she "grows up" she wants to be an elementary school general education teacher. Marni loves travelling around the world, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She is very excited to be a part of Hillel at UGA on Executive board for a 3rd year, and is excited to make a difference.
Director of Religious Life - Jules Shelkoff
Jules Shelkoff is a third year Family and Consumer Sciences Education major from Statesboro, Georgia. She is also Director of Advertising for Little Red Book Fashion Magazine. She enjoys reading, baking, meeting new people, and cheering on the dawgs!
Director of Special Events - Hallie Freedland
Hallie Freedland is a second year Risk Management and Insurance Major from Sandy Springs, Georgia. She is serving as the Director of Special Events and plans major events on and around campus that encourage participation and increase awareness of Hillel and our purpose. Hallie is part of Sigma Delta Tau and is involved in Relay For Life. Hallie likes traveling, playing sports and spending quality time with her friends. A fun fact about Hallie is that she was on her high school's culinary team and made it to the national level senior year.
Assitant Director of Special Events - Molly Smith
Molly Smith is a first year accounting major at the University of Georgia. She is from Birmingham, AL. Molly volunteers weekly at the the Humane Society, dances at a studio next to campus, and loves to spend time with her family and friends in her free time. She also tutored children for their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs at her synagogue at home from eight grade to senior year and continues to tutor when she goes home for the summer. She is really excited about being a part of the University of Georgia Executive Board this year.
Co Director of Engagement - Elise Snyder
Elise Snyder is a first year student from Dunwoody majoring in genetics with a pre med intent. She hopes to go to medical school and become a wonderful surgeon one day. She is a member of Sigma Delta Tau, loves the Giants, ice cream, Jimmy John's sandwiches, baked goods made by Jules, and ENGAGING PEOPLE. Elise also wishes she had a cool accent like Joel and Chloe, and hopes to one day acquire one.
Co Director of Engagement - Sarah Silva
Sarah Silva is a second year Econ major at the University of Georgia. She is serving as Director of Engagement this year for Hillel, and works at the East Campus Village dining hall in her spare time. She is involved in many extracurricular activities including the NCSC club and volunteer work tutoring kids at a small elementary school. She also has really cool events planned for this year, and looks forward to meeting each and every one of you.
Joseph Summer is a Sophomore and he is majoring Management Information Systems Major. He is also getting a New Media Interdisciplinary Certificate in the Journalism school. Joseph is involved in many campus organizations. He serves as the Social Chairman on the executive board of Zeta Beta Tau, and he is also a founding father of ZBT at UGA. He also is the secretary of the New Media Society. Joseph is involved in multiple honor societies such as Alpha Lambda Delta, Delta Epsilon Iota, the National Society for Collegiate Scholars, and the UGA chapter of Golden Key. In his free time, Joseph likes to attend basketball games in a speedo emblazoned with the stars and stripes. Joseph prides himself on his patriotism. He once recited the pledge 110 consecutive times while simultaneously helping 30 older ladies across the street. On his list of priorities, he puts America before breathing
